Bob Butler is the founding pastor of King of Kings Fellowship in Lethbridge, Alberta, where he serves with his wife and co-Pastor, Patty. Since becoming a Christian in 1980, the Holy Spirit has planted in him a growing desire to reveal Jesus Christ, and is strongly motivated by his passion for the Nations of the World to come to know Him. His vision is to serve Christ’s Church, by encouraging the planting of effective churches in every corner of the Globe that will honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.
Having been deeply touched and challenged by his time with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Hong Kong in 1981, Bob dedicates his life to serving God in ministry. His practical training began at the local church (The Stone Church-Toronto), where under the watchful eye of his Pastor (Rev. Earl Mcnutt) he was mentored for four years.
He received formal theological training at Central Pentecostal College in Saskatoon, Ambrose University College (formerly Canadian Theological Seminary), and other post-graduate institutions.
Bob has pastored four churches, has planted and leads more than 300 churches overseas, primarily in India and West Africa, and has ministered on 4 continents. Prior to that time he served a a Provincial Youth and Young
Adult Director in Saskatchewan for the Presbyterian Church in Canada, and has served as a sessional lecturer at Central Pentecostal College in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, instructing on Youth Culture, Preaching, Cross-Cultural Ministry , and Worship. He has written dozens of worship songs to encourage congregational worship, and has a deep passion for God’s presence, and has a growing teaching ministry, and is in the process of writing for publication.
