In June 2002, Pastors Bob and Patty Butler officially started King of Kings Fellowship from their home. The church has since witnessed growth, moving from a school gym to our current space on 18 Street South in Lethbridge (formerly the old Immanuel Lutheran church).
One of the original visions for King of Kings was to become a church planting church, and as such, we have seen hundreds of churches planted in India.
In 2022, King of Kings Lethbridge hired Scott Cyre as their second lead pastor as Bob focused on developing an international agency for planting churches around the world. Patty continues to teach at Immanuel Christian School and manages their beloved acreage.
After a lengthy battle with cancer, Bob went home to be with the Lord in December 2023. His obedience and diligence paved the way for many to know the Lord and experience His unconditional love.
