Canada's First National Day of Prayer

Canada does not formally have a recognized National Day of Prayer.

Yet.

But some organizers of prayer events formerly known as TheCRY are gathering on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on July 11-12, 2025 with the desire to establish Canada's first-ever National Day of Prayer. They are calling on all followers of Jesus to pray, to support their initiative, and to invite as many who are able and willing to join them on the Hill. This is an interdenominational gathering of Christians, and organizers believe that with enough participation and support, this event can become a recognized and annual observance in Canada.
